Kazakhstan to move anti-drug headquarters from Interior Ministry to government level
ASTANA. Aug 13 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has ordered the transfer of the interdepartmental headquarters for combating drug addiction and drug-related crime from the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) to the government level, as announced by the president’s advisor and press secretary, Ruslan Zheldibai.
