Kazakh government in talks with local producers about lower prices for some staples

ASTANA. Aug 4 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – The government of Kazakhstan is in talks with domestic producers to reduce prices on essential foodstuffs, including cooking oil, meat, salt and certain grains, the government’s press service said in a Monday press release.
