Kazakhstan's National Bank holds base rate at 16.5%, as expected

ALMATY. June 5 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – The National Bank of Kazakhstan has kept its base rate unchanged at 16.5% with a corridor of +/- 1 percentage point, as expected, citing persistent inflationary pressures.
